I lived in Cabo Rojo back in the 70's originally born and raised in new york city. I did attend the high Luis Munoz Marin of Cabo Rojo in 1971-1973 ( I returned to Nyc.

I'm looking for some friends, Daisy Toro,( from EL Corozo she was a tall girl... her sister ITa,
Edwin Camacho from Betances his friend GANGA!
What about Brunie married back then to Frankie!!!

Ada,know as COBY from Betances! We had history together....

Would love to hear from any of you guys or anyone that
know where they are today!

I visit Cabo Rojo 2 yrs ago. It was awesome I love the Beaches!

Yes, Edwin did write to me last year. He mentioned he is a grandpa... Has two daughters. I believe he married his childhood sweetheart..

He did mentioned about Ganga, He definetly used to work in a store in town. Thats the ganga.. He was too funny!!!

Edwin, said he lives in p.r. By the way, Edwin lives in Palm Beach Florida...

Hello, my name is Edwin and I was also in Cabo Rojo attending La High during tthe years of 71-74.
I definetly remeber Edwin La Vieja who played basketball quite a bit, I also played and was forever breaking my glasses. I lived in town but
had a girlfriend called Xiomara who lived in las
Parcelas de Betances (she was also Neuyorican)
There was quite a few girls that where ahead of me
in grade(s) some of the names mentioned in this
site sound familiar. Anyways it is good to see
someone bring good memories of the old Cabo Rojo, the great beaches, the hangouts right outside the school etc. If Anyways remembers other
neuyoricans that were there during this time,
(Freddie Santiago,great basketball player,
Rolando from la Urb. La Concepcion, two brothers
called Benny and Papo and los gemelos both

hi how are you, i dont know if u know me but i was one of the first n.y. ricans during those years. i knew ganga he worked in a clothing store in town for yrs... he was a close friend of the late san cabo rojos mayor. i used to hang with primitivo, africano, bernier etc. did u go to guajataca with the bilinguez when we went like 4 three days? i played b/ball.anyways i think i remember you. i used to date a girl called helen acosta. good memories/take care
