Hiking
Cabo Rojo is the home to the Natural Wildlife Refuge of Boqueron and Salt Flats. Take a guided interpretative tour tour for an interpretive 2 mile trail tour plus an additional 12 miles which include trails by the scenic cliffs of Los Morrillos Lighthouse with breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea.
Bird Watching
The Cabo Rojo Wildlife Refuge is a haven during the winter months for many species of migrating and native birds. No matter what time of year you visit, you’ll enjoy hiking the trails with sights and sounds of of beautiful birds. Interpretive tours are available.
Educational Tours
Hike or take a drive through the Boqueron State Forest, schedule an interpretive tour of Las Salinas (The Salt Flats).

Scuba Diving
For some serious scuba diving, the best on the island of Puerto Rico come to the west coast.
